I love education,everyday we learn something. I enjoy encouraging and motivating others to be their best.

I am currently a second year Actuarial student at the University of Pretoria. I went to school at Helpmekaar Kollege (IEB Curriculum) in Johannesburg, where I obtained 6 distinctions in Grade 12. My subjects were: Afrikaans (Home Language) (A), English (First Additional Language) (A), Mathematics (A), Life Orientation (A), Accounting, Economics (A), Business Studies (A) and Advanced Mathematics. Maths is absolutely my passion!!! I live in Hatfield very close to the university, and only go back home to Johannesburg about twice a month. This semester my timetable is quite flexible, although I have full days on campus on Wednesdays and Fridays. My classes only end late at 17:30 on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

I am a 22 year old female who is currently studying towards a degree in foundation phase education. I am very passionate about the growth and development concerning the younger generation and I firmly believe that if they do not learn the way we teach then we need to teach the way that they learn.

I am a hard-working, energetic individual who loves developing the potential within children. I treat every child as an individual and try to find common ground with them.

I am a 27-year-old woman who is organised, creative and committed. I have a degree in a Bachelor of Education and I enjoy working with children of all ages. I have extensive experience with children having worked as a tutor, special needs facilitator, au pair as well as a teacher. I am patient and enjoy simplifying difficult concepts.

I retired as buyer and manager for Woolworth's. I also did consulting work for Triumph and Pep Stores and retail manager for Hallmark and Peter Blond clothing. As hobbies I enjoy reading and prefer non fiction, travel, hiking, drawing, mosaic, cooking and my pets. I have been actively part of and supported Habitat of Humanity, Save the Rural child and St. Luke's Hospice. I am also active involved in the South African Film and TV Industry.

I completed a degree in Educational Pyschology and I have my Master degree in Educational Support. I love supporting students and I will be able assist them with strategies that will enable them to improve their work.
