Although Afrikaans is usually pretty much a drag and hindrance to many primary and high school students, I believe it’s a beautiful language if spoken well enough. Many people don’t fully understand Afrikaans and thus never truly experience the beauty of Afrikaans literature and poetry. I don’t speak high Afrikaans, but when it comes to tutoring it’s best to have someone who can talk to the student comfortably without them misunderstanding them. After all, most people who go to tutoring for Afrikaans don’t have the language skills to articulate themselves as well. I'm a great team-player, although I am also capable of taking on leadership and solo roles, as well as following instructions and taking initiative. I have ample wit, and will bring a bit of joy to any office. I hope to work in a high-pace environment as I thrive off of pressure and a bit of healthy competition. Although my academics have always been my top priority, I am also involved in several community service projects.
