I am currently doing my honours in accounting at UCT. I love meeting new students and helping them achieve their goals. I have tutored learners before both in accounting and mathemactics. I also did a bit of online tutoring through ABC tutoring.

I am a currently a 3rd year medical student at the University of Cape Town. I have a keen interest in biological and physical sciences, as well as English and Afrikaans literature; language and poetry, although I read widely and enjoy topics from many fields. While my understanding of the content I teach is the foundation of my teaching ability, I feel that my passion for the mechanisms of learning is my greatest advantage as a tutor. More specifically, I take pleasure in optimising the learning process towards the type of material being learnt; the end goal of the learning and most importantly: the student. By combining my knowledge of the subjects I love with my passion for learning & understanding I am confident that I can help you achieve your academic goals.

I am currently studying mechatronic engineering at uct. I achieved 9 distinctions at the end of matric in 2016 - choice subjects included physics, Accounting, Life science, geography, business. I love dogs and have 3 great danes. Teaching/tutoring has always been a passion of mine.

These days however, when I'm not buried under work from Uni, I busy myself with stuff such as kite surfing, playing guitar, running, reading classic novels and tennis. I have been working at one of the leading schools in South Africa for over a year. I specialized in Afrikaans where I took students from 40% to over 70% as their end of the year mark. I make learning fun and interesting and use ideas that is relevant to you, to help make learning interesting. I'm busy completing my undergraduate at the University of Cape Town and I major in Environmental and Geographical Science, Historical Studies and Gender Studies. I am a fourth year Law and Spanish major at UCT, I have just graduated with my undergrad in Spanish and law and am continuing into my postgrad in law this year. I grew up on a game farm in Limpopo and have always lived far from home, moving between boarding school, an overseas school exchange to Bogota, Colombia and now university across the country. I have tutored for over three years now both privately and for two different companies and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Tutoring is something that is so rewarding to me and being able to help people of many different ages in so many varying ways with their work has helped me to grow and learn as well.
