The world of the Physical Sciences intrigues me. This has driven me to strive for perfection in the subject, through both studying and helping others understand it. I realize that it is a difficult subject to grasp, but I have seen first hand that with patience, it can be done.

High school physichem was my best combo so I will absolutely enjoy rewinding my memories with you. I was a candidate for the best physichem. student at Molapo High school in 2008 and quite frankly I don't think it will be a challenge for me. Of course making you absolutely understand it will be the challenge which I have dealt with anyway.

I am studying a Bachelor of Science at UCT, and have always had a passion for Chemistry and Physics. I achieved 96% for Physical Sciences in the final NSC examinations in 2018. I have experience tutoring learners in Physical Science through an outreach programme and have sound knowledge of all the concepts covered.

For as long as I can remember, the world of science has fascinated me. It is for that reason that I pursued science-based degree programs (initially Engineering, currently Medicine) at university. In high school, I would often compete in Science Olympiads which I consistently performed well in (Top 100 in the Physical Sciences Olympiad (2015); 1st Place in Mpumalanga Mintek Quiz (2015)). I also achieved a final result of 93% for Physical Science at the end of matric. However, despite my passion for science, I understand that it can be a polarising subject and that some students require a little more time to come to grips with some of the concepts covered in the curriculum. I also think that these students have the most to gain from a tutor who is passionate, but patient, about this subject. I believe in the importance of understanding, and not just memorising, the concepts covered in the Science curriculum, and I would be delighted to have the opportunity to facilitate that learning.

I have over 5 years of Physical Science tutoring experience. Science, like maths, is a unique subject in that its governing concepts revolve around the nature of life as we know it. Learning about that, and imparting that knowledge onto others while discussing the way the world works within it, is something I am eager to do.

I obtained 7 distinctions in Matric and have completed two 1st year Undergradute Physics Courses at UCT with an average of 74%. Futhermore, I have a genuine fondness and appreciation for Physical Science and I hope to share this with students.

Physical science is so important as a basis for the study of the sciences. Therefore, I want to help students improve their problem-solving skills, as well as help them to understand difficult concepts. I have lots of experience with science as I am now close to finishing my BSc. I am patient and hard-working.

It's my passion. I achieved 92% in grade 12. My mum is also a physics teacher so it's in my DNA. I have many years of experience helping my mum, preparing lessons and experiment, and then also tutoring her children and teaching alongside her in class

I'm very patient, and happy to explain things many times and work at whatever pace suits you.
