I am currently in my final year of Civil Engineering at the University of Pretoria. I am passionate about Math and Science and believe that a basic understanding of both should be a cornerstone of every child's education. I'm am an innovative and passionate Maths and Science lover. I am patient and understanding and believe that with the right education your possibilities are endless. I enjoy a challenge and see myself as an alternative thinker , trying to solve problems in unconventional ways. I believe mathematics and science is more than understanding a subject, as it is learning a lifestyle. It is constantly challenging the mind and inspiring creative thinking in order to solve problems. My aim is to help learners better grasp the concept of why they are learning the work and what the real world application is , rather than just showing them how.

Chemistry is the major subject in the Analytical Chemistry course which is the course I studied at the university. I have an intense knowledge of the the subject and also the practical know how allowing me to make relevant examples when coming to the subject

I have been a Science tutor since 2087. I have achieved a mark of 70% for Chemistry when I completed my AS-Levels. For my Chemistry modules, CHM 171 and CHM 181, I achieved a mark of 89% and 85% respectively. These two modules cover inorganic, organic and analytical chemistry.

Got a distinction for A-Level Chemistry. This covers a wide range of topics. I still have all of my notes in very good condition. I have a few learning techniques that helped me, that I can pass on.

When starting chemistry, I did not have the best knowledge or understanding of it. Over countless study hours, and through finding the best teacher to help me, I managed to gain a great understanding of the subject. Cambridge chemistry, a separate subject from Physical Science, is somewhat more advanced and comprehensive than South African syllabi, which has enabled me to gain a better understanding of the subject than most of my peers.

I'm very passionate about chemistry as it fascinates me and is always very interesting. I am most passionate about the basics of organic chemistry. Working with chemicals is something I have always enjoyed and figuring out chemical equations is something I like to do.
