I am a 22 year old qualified Civil Engineer (BScEng) from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. I am currently pursuing my Masters degree, specialising in Fluid Mechanics. I have 1 year of experience as a Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Geography and English tutor. I work well with children, especially children with learning disabilities, as I have had previous clients who suffered from ADHD. Although I am an Engineer, one of my passions has always been teaching others, which is why I am pursuing this as a part time career while I further my studies.

Avanya Manickum is currently in her final year of Geological Sciences at UKZN. She only has one module running at a time which allows her to focus on tutoring and keep herself updated with the school syllabus. She has done voluntary tutoring work for maths during high school. I am a seasoned educator who has been in the education sector for the past 20 years. I specialize in Physical Sciences and Life Sciences at F.E.T level (Grades 10/11/12). I have also been involved in the tutoring of UNISA and university students for the past 8 years. I use an integrated approach to me teaching with my key focus on Digital Learning.
