I adore Geography! I minored in Geography and Environmental Studies at Stellenbosch University and I matriculated with 93% in the subject. I was within the top 1% of highest achievers taking Geography through IEB in 2011.

I have done Geography since primary school and have always been extremely intrigued by Geography around us. I am studying Geography at University and hope to teach Geography as my career. I studied Geography as an AS level subject - meaning it was done at a Cambridge level and therefore is internationally recognized.

My skills with Map work and memory recall for the subject are very good. The subject includes some mathematic ability which I also excel in. My final mark in matric was 93%. I believe I am well equipped to teach this subject.

I love geography and studying the ever changing patterns that the weather follows. I love being able to look at a map or a weather chart and be able to read it accuratly to find the informtion that I am looking for. I find natural disasters very interesting and i think the geographical impact on these diseasters is very fasinating and therefore spend large amounts of my time studying these things. Geography is a very practical subject as it is one of the only subjects that you will be able to use in your every day life for the rest of your life. It is also a subject that you can learn from the envrioment around you This was my strongest subjecct in school and it has taught me to have an ever increading respect for mother nature and the world we live in.

Geography is our map to the world! I love exploring and understanding the world we live it. My love and enthusiasm for Geography is what makes my lessons so interesting. A creative and innovative approach to Geography is what makes me a great tutor to my students.

I believe that i am the best tutor for this subject as i have majored in this subject as well as taught it to High school and Primary School scholars for the last two years at an IEB registered school. I go over and above looking for resources and making learning fun and interactive. i enjoy making PowerPoint presentations and sharing these with the learners.

I love Geography and the amount of freedom you have for activities. There is so much you can experience off the paper. Like going to a river, mountain, dam, lakes etc. Experiencing Geography first-hand and physically seeing and touching object allows you to learn so much more.

I have taught geography in Parlock primary school hence I have gained experience. I can teach you all you need to know about maps, tides, directions, slopes and the list goes on. My geography lessons will be as exciting as visiting different places and seeing the difference between a high tide and low tide.

I am passionate about making Geography relevant, understandable and fun. I enjoy using project-based learning in order to make the concepts more concrete and enjoyable. I’m confident in assisting with understanding new or challenging concepts, teaching study skills and helping with assignments, projects and tasks.

I matriculated with 84% in geography. It was a subject I enjoyed and lead me to what I am currently studying, geological sciences. As someone in their final year of geological sciences, I have completed many modules that expand on topics learnt in high school. This broader understanding keeps the topics fresh in my mind and help me break them down to others.
