The more you read the wider you knowledge will grow and more you will know of things that maybe interest you. No matter what career you decide to follow you will always need to be able to read. Reading takes practice and try and read every day.

I am driven to help students overcome barriers that impact their learning, and I am committed to educating students, colleagues, families, and the community through establishing strong connections. My mission is to help students to think critically, and motivate children to believe that they can succeed in achieving their dreams.

I am an avid reader. I like to read Jane Austen novels, as well as Nicholas Sparks books. All the romantics as they would say. Reading improves overall skills in English and can widen your vocabulary and improve grammar skills.

To ensure my learner becomes fluent and proficient in reading, I will create and plan different fun and interactive lessons that will integrate different strategies such as phonological and phonemic awareness (focusing on the sounds), fluency (the ability to read effortlessly), vocabulary and comprehension (understanding the text).

During my work we have been given opportunities to teach kids how to read at schools that are less disadvantage and make notes for the next employees to check the kids progress. I love reading and I believe that I can help someone else to have the ability and master the skills.

I am very patient and love kids and watching them Learn and grow. I’m also a swim coach for learn to swim babies and toddlers and just love helping kids grow to the best they can be. I’m home all day so I am available any time

As a Foundation Phase teacher for the past 7 years, I have had the pleasure of teaching children how to read. It is an incredible process and journey to go through, as children begin to grow in their confidence as emergent readers. I also teach Math in fun and enjoyable ways - teaching children an array of strategies, and allowing them to use the ones that work best for them.

I love reading and often challenge myself by reading intricate novels, poems and plays such as William Shakespeare. I have in the past helped students with their reading, especially non-English speaking students.

I have received 86% for my overall English subject when matriculating high school and have too received 84% for AP English, which largely focuses on understanding readerly texts. More prominently I have completed three years of undergraduate English studies at Wits University, which means that I have a profound understanding of literary works and am able to aid in the improvement of reading skills where needed.

It is said to be the best writer, you have to be the best reader. I am a reader at heart. I have went to Paris, walked down beaches in Florida, slept in busy apartments in New York City, all this by reading and imagining things in your mind. The power that is reading unlocks your imagination, and makes it easier not only to be better at your paper 2 exam, but paper 3 as well.
