Reading tutors in Johannesburg South

I am best for this subject because I was taught how to read when I was 6 and I grew fond of reading,it became my passion. I was instilled that reading was a key practice in the society. As I know the importance of reading and value it myself I transmit it to the students as well.

As a literature coach, my work was mostly focused on the improvement of reading skills and reading comprehension. I had to help the kids move up levels, assess where their reading level was and then work with them to improve their level.

I enjoy reading. I have a neutral English accent and I’m good with the pronunciation and spelling of most words. I enjoy hearing other people read and helping them when necessary. I used to get full marks for reading in high school. 😁

I believe that I have always had a natural talent for reading. My daughter enjoys my reading when I read to her because I change my voice and do actions as I read her bedtime stories. I really enjoy doing that because it gives me a chance to work on my drama skills, and I get to show her the value of reading as it is an important skill to have.

I have teaching experience in English including teaching English grade 10 at the University of Johannesburg . I have tutored for over years English an all levels and my students have had a high pass rate.

I love English and got very good Mark's in school. I also read a lot of books so it is easy for me to grasp new words and their meanings. English is my home language and I am very good at writing essays.
