I have received a minimum of an A in History throughout my high school years. I appreciate the subject for its ability to develop one's mind towards being able to process large quantities of data. This skill has proven extremely beneficial in my interaction with varsity reading material.

I am extremely passionate about history. I majored in it at university and have taught it at a high school level. I am very familiar with multiple types of curriculums (NSC, IEB and Cambridge). Is enjoy making the study of history and often like to try new things and do virtual world tours to current historic sites. I enjoy making it an exciting learning experience to assist students in understanding it and possibly getting their own passion for the subject. I strive to uphold that the deeper learning experiences of history is for critical analysis and not merely retainment of knowledge and so I try to assist students in developing their critical analysis skills through the pursuit of history.

I really enjoyed this subject. I received 82% for this subject in my Matric year. This too is a tricky subject but once you understand History you too can obtain a Distinction. I love history and I will love teaching it

I passed the subject with a distinction in matric and I tutored the subject in high school. In University, I tutored Jurisprudence for which history is a major component. I love the subject, fully understand the complexities that come with the subject and have learned methods to explain difficult concepts in a manner that students can easily understand and will not easily forget.

I am a majored in History at the University of Johannesburg while obtaining my bachelors. I enjoy learning history and found that this makes me a better teacher than a regular history teaching. By diving into history with learners they are more evoked to study more and engage with the content effectively.

History is very interesting to me. I love learning about the things that happened in our world before I was born or old enough to remember. I love knowing more about events and the history around people, places and things.

Whether the subject is William the Conqueror or Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, the enjoyment of history rests largely upon how the history teacher recreates past and current events and historical biography. It can be lifeless or brought to life, thrilling or rote. Who hasn’t had a dynamic history teacher who helped us to understand the significance of the Industrial Revolution or the cultural impact of the Renaissance? Good history teachers are storytellers as well as instructors, and they usually teach at middle school, high school and college levels. Although classroom curricula vary depending on the level and course you’re teaching, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to share your knowledge world history, and your passion for learning.

Out of all the subjects that were taught at my high school, History was my favourite. History not only taught me about the great advancements the human race has made but also helped me learn about the mistakes people made in the past which resulted in wars and mass suffering. It taught me about our rich cultural heritage and how our nation came into existence. It also made me aware of the struggle of our forefathers and made me appreciate the existing rights and freedom that are afforded to all South Africans.

I always loved History and obtained A's and B's throughout my schooling career. While au-pairing i tutored the children and helped them with history. I have an interest for the subject and learn very quickly myself.
