I have always had a passion for this subject as I enjoy learning about the world and past world events. I also have past experience in tutoring this subject. I believe that this is one of the most interesting subjects in school and I believe I can make learning this subject a lot of fun.

I was an A level history student and always find the best way to teach learners and involving them in the process. History needs creativity and requires a dedicated researcher. My study methods and techniques allow children to understand and apply their knowledge. I inspire confidence and provide support for any of my students.

Education is very important to me. I am passionate about educating children and to help them realise their potential. My experiences include 4 years of educating children (grade 4 - 7) at a learning center and tutoring children privately. In 2019 I obtained a BA degree in Psychology Cum Laude and intend to study BEd Intermediate Phase in 2021. Mathematics, Geography, History, Natural Sciences and Technology (Wiskunde, SW en NWT) are all subjects that I enjoy but I am familiar with all the subjects. I am patient but results driven. I have a good understanding of children and their development and have an eye for the finer detail which enables me to pickup learning barriers and anxiety in children. My aim is to get children to enjoy school, to be curious to explore and to be eager to learn. I am also a kids life coach and can teach them study techniques and give them the necessary tools to succeed in their studies.

History is the most fascinating subject. It was one of my majors in University and I did it until Grade 12. History is fun to teach because you get to tell stories or the dead and many of the living.

As a Humanities student I truly believe that History is one of the most important subjects at school. Not only for its ability to contextualize historic events and allow for a better understanding of our world but also for the way it teaches you to think. The critical thinking that the subject requires is a vital skill, not only if one wants to further their studies, but also for the real world. As someone who understands this and has truly benefited from the subject this would be an area of focus for my classes. In addition I received a distinction for the subject in matric and am familiar with the curriculum.

I've always been an avid history buff. I was the nerdy kid who used to watch the History channel, and to this day I still watch historical shows on Netflix. I received 89% for History in Matric, and I look forward to helping you enjoy this subject. As a journalism student at university, I am able to write and report in many different formats. I will work with you on essay formats, how to prepare for discursive essays, and how to understand sources.

While I teach English, I have an honours in History from the University of Pretoria. I tutored first years students there and have experience teaching History to grade 11 learners. I find that History is best learnt through mastering summary techniques and improving essay writing skills.

I thoroughly enjoyed History in High School and took it up in University which increased my knowledge that does not limit me to a singular curriculum but various curriculums that include IEB,Cambridge A, AS and O' Levels respectively as well as DBE.

I loved history in school and I always excelled as I found it so interesting but also found different techniques to help me remember all the information. I have learnt many different ways to learn and remember information and I can help you do the same !

History is one of my favourite subjects, my passion for the subject makes me easier, and more fun to learn from, ensuring the information learnt will not be forgotten. I motivate learners to enjoy the subject and in turn their knowledge retention in the subject improves.
