Lerato S - Tutor in Rietfontein 2-Ir

I was one of the recipients of the University of Johannesburg's First Year Top Achievers' Awards in 2016. In 2018 I was a tutor for first year politics, psychology and law students. During 2018, I was appointed as a Residence Academic Advisor and my duties consisted of mentoring and tutoring first year politics, psychology and law students. In 2019, I worked as an Introduction to Legal Studies tutor at the University of Johannesburg's law faculty. I tutored first year law students and I was a moot court tutor and coach. As can be seen from above, I am passionate about the law - in particular, transforming and uplifting my community. I look forward to assisting students whose chosen field of study is law.

Out of all the subjects that were taught at my high school, History was my favourite. History not only taught me about the great advancements the human race has made but also helped me learn about the mistakes people made in the past which resulted in wars and mass suffering. It taught me about our rich cultural heritage and how our nation came into existence. It also made me aware of the struggle of our forefathers and made me appreciate the existing rights and freedom that are afforded to all South Africans.

English was one of my favorite subjects in school, and I excelled in literature, grammar, comprehension, public speaking and writing.As far as standard tests show, I am more than proficient in English or work that assumes knowledge of English.I received numerous distinctions for the subject in high school.
