My name is Mienke and I am a fun loving teacher who wants to make the classroom exciting and worthwhile for you! I am an approachable person with vast experience in various industries to be able to teach you what you need to know to the best of my ability.

I am a self-driven individual who is able to work with people from all ages and cultures. I stay in Equestria, Pretoria and I am currently completing a Masters degree in Environmental Management with North-West University, Potchefstroom campus; with the final submission date of my dissertation being in September 2020. I have an Honours degree in Geography (Modules: Air Pollution Meteorology, Climate Change, Conservation Biogeography, GIS) from Wits University, as well as a BSc degree in Geography and Geology (Subjects: Geography 3, Advanced Earth Sciences 3, Geology 2, Ancillary Mathematics & Statistics 1, Chemistry 1) from Wits University. I have good people management skills, I am patient and have a calm personality.

I am a High School English Home Language who has been teaching matriculants for 2 years now. I have an honours in History where I focused on the intersection between history and film - trust me, this is very interesting. My passion for English means that I absolutely love teaching others and I am able to make Shakespeare a lot easier.

I hold a Master of Philosophy in Strategic Management. I work as a Business Analyst / ICT Project Manager and write detailed strategic processes for business development. Further I hold an Honors in Business Management as well as a BCom in Business Management.

I am currently in my final year of studying BEng Industrial at the University of Pretoria. I am a hard-working, motivational extrovert. I am a patient person and matriculated with 7 distinctions and an overall average of 87%. I am an open and approachable person and won't think twice about walking the extra mile for someone who deserves it.

I am a 26 year old man with ambition. I have a degree (B.ENG Civil Engineering) in Civil Engineering from the University of Pretoria and work as a full time Civil Engineer in the Dams and Hydropower department of AECOM. I graduated in 2014 and started working for AECOM directly after I finished my studies. I am a very motivated teacher and always enjoy helping students develop their Science and Math skils. I have a very good knowledge of Physics and Mathematics due to my Civil Engineering degree and I work with these principles every day. I am a very active person who loves playing all sports but especially Rugby, Cricket, Hockey, Tennis and Swimming. I recieved provincial colours for Swimming and Hockey at school. I also enjoy playing Golf and scuba diving in my spare time. I am engaged to be married in December 2016 and am therefore very motivated and driven to teach so that I can pay off my study debt before I get married.

I am a mother of a 6-year-old and studying part time through UNISA. I am currently completing my dissertation in MA Psychology. I am very patient and have excellent communication skills. I reside in Pretoria East.
