This is my home language and was one of the subjects that I enjoyed the most in high school. I can help you a lot when it comes to poetry and literary essays, as well as when it comes to understanding specific questions in high school english papers, as these can become fairly complex.

I believe I am a great English Tutor because of my diverse experiences in teaching English as a subject and my passion for the language. Aside from that, I am very comfortable with the language and can teach just about any topic in the subject. Topics I enjoy teaching: 1. Language e.g. punctuation, spelling, grammar 2. Literature 3. Speaking skills 4. Poetry 5. Writing 6. Novels and Short stories I believe what sets me aside from others is my energetic personality, paired with my creative teaching strategies. Learning can happen in the most unexpected ways. I aim to make each and every lesson applicable and memorable.

I got a distinction for IEB English in my matric year, and I did a semester module of English in university. I can assist students with reading, writing, grammar and literature. I have effective ways of making work easy to learn and understand.

As I am a native English speaker and have written English at a high level, having worked in London United Kingdom, and written a Master's degree in technical English, I am well suited to teaching high level English. I have a UK government approved English teaching qualification in a TEFL diploma. Furthermore I have taught in three disciplines in English so am well suited to this subject.

I am currently a primary school teaching in an English median school. I am a grade 6 educator. I am also English speaking. I am able to successfully help learners understand basic grammar rules, literature and comprehension skills.

I create fun and interactive lessons that's never boring. I am an extremely hard worker and give a 100% to everything I do. I will not move onto the next topic unless the student completely understands every aspect of the topic and feels confident. I am very patient and my students never have to be afraid to make mistakes, that is normal and part of the process. I also have plenty of experience teaching English and have learned a lot from my experience.

Being an English major, I have a really strong passion for the language. It was always one of my strongest subjects in school, which has led me to major in English. I can assist with grammar, comprehension and other fields that you need help with.

Literature has been my absolute passion since a young age. I'm never without a book to read and I love reading between the lines to deepen my experience. I took English as my major during my undergraduate studies.

With the exposure I have had, I've been able to expand on key characteristics such as patience, empathy, understanding and care which enables me to be a great tutor. I believe tutoring should be tailored to the specific student and I have become adept in identifying the best means for a student to achieve a deep understanding of the work/subject at hand. I would also consider myself to be quite relatable and I would always ensure that the student is comfortable and confident to participate in lessons and to work towards any goals that are set.

I have three years of experience in different countries and all ages. I have an excellent grasp of all the various areas within the subject and know how to explain things in different ways- seeing as everyone learns in different ways. My pronunciation is excellent, and I excelled in the language studies at school, as well as the university.
