Good day I am ambitious young lady who has a passion for teaching and training. I love reading and watching the National Geographic channel as well as sightseeing in the beautiful city of ape Towm. I would like to take up teaching on a part time basis.

I am a qualified Millwright with more than 15 years’ experience in heavy industry. On the coal mines I worked on high voltage ac equipment as well as hydraulic systems. After the mines I worked in the manufacturing sector. The production machines were mostly PLC controlled with pneumatic actuators. I left the manufacturing industry and worked on material handling equipment. The forklifts, reach trucks and other lifting machines were either battery, LPG or diesel powered. But they all used hydraulics to lift. I am currently working in the rail industry. This is a high voltage dc environment. I have a Millwright trade certificate from the Mining Industry Engineering Trades Training Board; a Diploma in Power Engineering from the University of South Africa as well as a BA degree from the University of The Western Cape. I enjoy cycling. It seems as though age is making me faster. I am a husband and father of two daughters.

I am currently finishing my final year of my undergraduate degree at the University of Stellenbosch, majoring in Genetics and Microbiology. I received seven distinctions in matric and form part of the Golden Key Society at University (This is international recognition of the top 15% academic achievers per faculty). I have just returned from completing a Summer School programme at the University of Adelaide in Australia, and have gained much insight through travelling abroad. I love playing tennis and other more adventurous forms of outdoor activities such as hiking and bodyboarding.

I am a qualified teacher, with a degree in Education - Senior and FET phase ( English and Psychology as major). Currently busy with my Honours Degree in Education Psychology. I have 6 to 7 years working experience - I’ve taught students with learning difficulties at a home based school, who worked through “IMPAK” 2011-2015 (home schooling). Since 2016 January to June 2017 I worked as a grade 4 English FAL teacher at a primary School (Laerskool President Steyn - Johannesburg) I am currently relocating to the Western Cape - Brackenfell area.
