I am a mother tongue English speaker. I have been teaching English - in all its aspects for the last 15 years. I have worked in different countries. I have prepared students for different examinations, including Young flyers through to IELTS and TOEFL. I love language and the teaching of it is first prize. Seeing a student able to discuss and laugh in another language is wonderful. wherever possible I try to make classes fun and different, I force the student to think and make them realize that it is not just the language it is the art of communication,.

I'm currently a third year student at Stellenbosch University, studying BComm Managerial Accounting. In my free time I'm very active and enjoy sports, fitness and socializing. The reason for my application to become a tutor is to earn extra money that can help me pay for my studies.

Hi! I am a recent graduate from the University of Stellenbosch. I have a BSc degree in Human Life Science and Psychology, with a double major in Physiology and Psychology and a minor in Genetics. I also have a Postgraduate qualification in Education or PGCE (cum laude). I am a qualified teacher, specialising in Life Science Education as well as Life Orientation. As you can tell, I'm very passionate about the study of human beings. I am also a certified English language instructor. In addition to Language, Life Science and Psychology related subjects, my educational background equips me with knowledge about academic writing, reading, citation as well as study skills and methods. All together, I have 17 years of academic experience, which I am eager to share with you! My teaching style is relaxed, but adaptive. I adjust the lesson goals and teaching strategies according to the individual needs of each student. I am currently working as a Junior Data Scientist at the South African Radio Astronomy Observatory (SARAO) under the Square Kilometer Array Africa (SKA-Africa) project. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Physics, an Honours degree in Astrophysics and recently, I hold an MSc specializing in Astronomy and Data Science with the University of Cape Town. I have a passion for knowledge sharing because I believe that education is the only tool we have that can change the world. Hence, I have more than 8 years of experience of tutoring dating way back when I was still in high school. Mathematics and Physical Sciences are my most two favourite subjects because I want to change the stigma associated with these two subjects.

I am currently a second year student at UCT. I was born in Johannesburg and went to school at Reddam House Waterfall. Both my parents are Chinese so I am fluent in both Chinese and English and in addition to this I studied both Afrikaans and French in High School and obtained a distinction for both. I was Dux Scholar in my year for High school and studied Actuarial Science last year. This year I plan to switch and do a triple major in Mathematics, Mathematical statistics and Finance so that I may focus on those subjects specifically. As far as personality goes and my own personal life goes I am a very social and friendly person. I enjoy helping others and I have had experience tutoring many of my friends and my younger brother. I want to make sure that you can achieve to the best of your abilities and that you have all the help you need in order to achieve your dreams in the future. I am a 27-year-old female who completed her PhD in Wine Biotechnology in February 2020. In my PhD and my now Postdoctoral Fellow position I focus on molecular microbiology and bioinformatics. I completed my undergraduate degree with Microbiology and Biotechnology, and Ecology, Environment and Conservation as my majors. My postgraduate education was in Wine Biotechnology with specialization in Molecular Microbiology. Outside of academics, I dabble in creative writing, drawing and digital art. I also have a Wordpress blog that I run. I have an education channel on Youtube (search for The Germophile) focusing on microbiology.

I am a second year LLB student at Stellenbosch University. I have a real passion for language, people and learning. I tutor Mathematics, Physics and AP Mathematics at a high school level. I am currently an undergraduate Mathematics and Statistics student at the University of Cape Town. I have a strong work ethic which lead to my achieving 7 As and a 90 percent aggregate in Matric. I was also placed on the Dean's list last year. I have a passion for Mathematics and Physics and want to foster an interest in these subjects among other students. My aim is to provide students with a strong conceptual understanding of the subjects and to equip them with the necessary skills to succeed in both the IEB and NSC examinations. I have gained tutoring experience by being a member of the Academic Support Task Team at Westville Boys' High. I have since tutored both privately and for Mad About Maths and have a strong understanding of the various curricula.

I am a 24 year old goal - driven female. I completed my Bachelor of Arts Humanities degree at Stellenbosch University at the end of 2017, and I currently finished off my Post – Graduate certificate in Education (also at Stellenbosch University) with English and Life Orientation being my qualified teaching subjects.
