I am currently a student at the University of Pretoria in the field of Industrial Engineering. I am a Final Year student with experience in many different areas. For the year 2018, I was a part time tutor to two high school learners. It started as a favor to a family friend but owing to my patients and intense mathematical, science and accounting background it became clear I had an aptitude for teaching. For the whole of 2018 I was tutoring 4 hours a week and enjoyed the success of my learners

I am a professional nurse that has spare time on my hands. I have always had a passion for teaching and would like to assist students of all ages in the subjects to achieve their required marks in the subjects they feel they need help in. During my studies at the University of Western Cape and University of Stellenbosch, I tutored graduate students in different subjects. Recently I wrote the medical entrance exam for medical school, and had to study all of the different science subjects. Mathematics Biology Physics Chemistry I will work according to your pace and provide additional material and questions to make sure you understand the concepts.

Since primary school I have always done well and received above 80% for my subjects. I was always top 3 in my class in prinary school and in High school I always made the top 20 out of the almost 200 people in our grade. In matric I received 5 desticntions and came 12th in my grade. I took English Home language as a subject and have a passion for it. I also have a degree in Biology which I did in Germany. Therefore my German skills are good (90% average, with being the nr 1 student in my grade for this language every year) and my Biology knowlegde is of course beyond sufficient. In 2020 I will be doing my Honours in Molecular Biology and am looking for a part time job in tutoring. I am available in the evening and on weekends. I can try to open up a afternoon if requested. I want to study to become a teacher after my Honours so this would be a perfect oppurtunity for me to get ahead of that as well.

I'm a final year undergraduate student at UCT studying Bcom Economics and Finance and applying for a Bcom Honours in Finance next year. From the time I was a kid, I've always loved doing mathematics and now I find pleasure in teaching others. I take time to find out where other people's understandings start to go wrong and try to build the lesson from their point of view. I achieved a final grade of 98 for my NSC Mathematics Grade 12, 96 for NBT Mathematics and 93 for NBT Quantitative literacy. Initially, I signed up to study Bcom Actuarial Science, therefore I did complete MAM1000W(full first-year Mathematics course) and achieved 70 for my final grade. Therefore my knowledge of Mathematics is up to first-year University.

Hello, my name is Emma. I am a teacher from Paarl. I really love being a teacher and helping kids from all ages improve their school work. I believe learning should be fun. Little kids learn best by playing games and working practically. I have a big love for teaching phonics and reading.

I am currently a third-year Bcom Management Sciences student at Stellenbosch University. I was an honour roll student through my entire school career and I believe I can help others achieve academic success as well. I graduated matric with an 84% average with my subjects being Afrikaans Home Language, English First Additional Language, Maths, Life Sciences, Consumer Studies and Accounting. I am very good with numbers and had Statistics and Interest Accounting as subjects in my first year of university, Financial Accounting in my first and second, and Financial Management in my second and third (current) year. I have a younger brother in school whom I regularly assist with school subjects and can tell from this experience that I am competent to help anyone with their academics. I believe I can achieve these outcomes through passing on my fun, easy and helpful studying methods so that students can learn more from me than just the content I am tutoring them in. So that they acquire tips and skills that they can use for the rest of their lives in all aspects that might be of relevance.
