I attended one of the top performing academic high schools in South Africa, St Stithians Boys’s College. At this institution I studied both Advanced Program Mathematics and Mathematics, in which I was in the top class for in my grade. I matriculated in 2019, with a distinction in Mathematics of 83%. I am also very passionate about the subject and have a great interest in it, hence why I have chosen to take Mathematics as a course in university, to extend my skills.

I come from a family passionate about mathematics and want to share that passion with others. As someone who used to struggle with maths myself, in junior school, I know that success in this subject comes from hard work and making sure you know your basics. As a recently matriculated student, I am very familiar with the NSC syllabus and the specific things students need to do to gain high marks with the current curriculum. I hope that I can teach students to be confident in their maths abilities and enjoy the subject through our sessions.

I have a Master's degree in Physical sciences. One cannot be good in physics if one level of Mathematics is not solid. In addition to my curriculum, I have teaching experience of more than 3 years for undergrad students on campus.

According to my experience with providing service and working with students, I believe I am the best tutor for the subject, I have been tutoring Maths since Grade 10 and I have met different type of students weak and strong but managed to stabilize and show them their potential. I try by all means to find where the problem really is and tackle it patiently with the pupil till progress is done and than stick to that method of teaching. I take my wake seriously and put my clients prior without any doubts.

Maths can be so tough and daunting sometimes! But don't fear, when there's a will, there's a way! In Matric I was gratefully awarded with a distinction for mathematics. I understand how frustrating and tricky this subject can be, but through hard work and patience, I believe we can work together to help you conquer this subject.

I did mathematics as well as AP maths all the way till matric and had mathematics for my first year in university so my knowledge about mathematical problems are quite good. I can help out with maths and ensuring students understand.

I consistently achieved above 85% throughout my high school career, achieving an 88% average for my NSCs. My degree (Beng Mechatronic Engineering) is also a very maths-heavy degree, and has provided me with a greater understanding of high school maths.

Since I have experienced the curriculum from foundation phase through to varsity I can always fill in the crucial missing steps you may have or revise a part you may have forgotten. I also have a Masters in Mathematics Education and have done a course called Mathematics with wings which give me the theoretical techniques, psychological and philosophical ways to approach a problem with the learning, understanding or learning material. They also enable me to create extra practice examples unique to you the learner and your real life circumstances.

I have been told many times that I have a "maths brain", I did exceptionally well in mathematics at school and I am currently studying a mathematics and statistics based degree and so maths is a very big part of my life and so making me the best tutor to teach it.

Applied Mathematics I have experience with tutoring Maths and Physics and have grown fond of their intricate details that make these subjects difficult but also so rewarding once grasped. My results for Applied Mathematics in my university career have been constant and highly above average, which shows that I have a firm understanding of the nuances of the field.
