I am a graduated human genetics honoury postgraduate student (2016) who excels in mathematics, computer applications technology (CAT) and biology and/or life science.

A 48 years old Maths, Science and Technology male educator passionate about playing acoustic guitar as well as marimba (wooden instrument); with 26 years post- qualification teaching experience. I have a passion for learning and in particular I love the life sciences and languages. My background is in Veterinary Biology and Equine Sciences.

I have worked in the Telecommunications field and have seen how these subjects are applied in the field. I believe we keep learning in life and teaching others benefits me as well in continuous learning.

I am passionate about Science and Technology. I am currently doing my final year BSc Biochemistry and pysiology through Unisa. My work experience includes: 1. Unisa I-Set Robotics Ambassador: teaching Lego Mindstorms building and programming to Primary and High School learners. 2. Google Student Ambassador: hosting computer literacy workshops and teaching programming through Scratch, Mindstorms and WeDo technologies. 3. Robotics Facilitator at the Cape Town Science Centre: teaching Lego Mindstorms, WeDo, computer literacy and Technology. I'm capable of tutoring Life Science, Mathematics (pure and Literacy), Science, Technology , Robotics and Computer literacy.

I am a 27 year old young lady with 5 years of teaching experience. I am passionate about Mathematics and I love working with young people. I believe that everybody is able to master Mathematics with the right guidance.

I am currently finishing my final year of my undergraduate degree at the University of Stellenbosch, majoring in Genetics and Microbiology. I received seven distinctions in matric and form part of the Golden Key Society at University (This is international recognition of the top 15% academic achievers per faculty). I have just returned from completing a Summer School programme at the University of Adelaide in Australia, and have gained much insight through travelling abroad. I love playing tennis and other more adventurous forms of outdoor activities such as hiking and bodyboarding.
