Good day Everyone This post is to express my interest in English, Mathematics and/or Science tutor positions. My name is Morné Pieters. I am 34 years old and a native-English speaker from South Africa with an IELTS General Overall Band score of 8.5 (Candidate #: 006935). My education includes a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, a post graduate Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree in Metallurgical Engineering, technical diploma, technical certifications and a 120-hour TEFL qualification. I believe anyone can learn the things they want to be skilled in. With patience and perseverance even the most difficult subject can be understood. I've been working in the finance industry for almost 10 years, this has taught me to focus on tasks at hand, plan ahead and manage the time available so that I can get all my tasks done. I've learned many things this way, even about things beyond my field of work. With the right approach, the learning process can be easy and enjoyable. Learning should be fun, not a boring chore.

I am a goal driven, organized person. I’m a qualified teacher at Carpe Diem Academy and love working with children. I am busy with my honors in Applied Psychology. I like to make a difference with children and there academic achievements.

I enjoy sharing my knowledge with other people around me, and that is why I chose an interesting degree like Chemical Engineering, to keep amazing people day by day.

I am currently an Accounting, Statistics and Mathematics Lecturer. I am passionate about what I do and I love numbers. I have an honors degree in marketing and I am currently studying towards a degree in Accountancy.

My passion is helping learners to get from where they are, academically, to where they need to be - and further! My experience includes private tutoring for Gr 1 - 12 in English and Afrikaans (HL and FAL). I am the mother of three grown sons, have my own transport and enjoy interacting with families in order to get to know the learner better - which in turn makes the tutoring process easier and happier for both myself and the learner. I make use of various styles of teaching - depending on the learner's needs. Exam prep is a time of fun exercises in the form of quizzes, multiple choice questions and verbal answering.

I am currently enrolled at the University of Pretoria. I study Dietetics, first year. Therefore I had to achieve good grades in subjects such as: Science, Maths, Biology, English and Afrikaans. I also excelled in Computer application technology and life orientation.
