Physics tutors in Stellenbosch

I achieved an 80% average in my NSCs for physical science, which was somewhat brought down by my chemistry paper. Physics always came easy to me and I always achieved above 85% for my Physics tests and exams. Also, my Mechatronic Engineering degree is very physics-orientated and this has given me a far greater understanding of high school level physics.

I am currently a forth year Mechanical Engineering Student at the University of Stellenbosch. An engineering degree requires an advanced knowledge of a wide variety of mathematics and science. I have successfully completed 3 years with very positive results and I firmly I can provide support to most challenges faced in this line of work. Throughout my education I have excelled in the areas relating to the engineering field and I have developed a strong foundation in mathematics, science, design and computer related skills. I have demonstrated my communication, teamwork and dedication through various leadership positions in both sporting and community related aspects. My particular interest lies in the Biomedical Engineering field.

I attended high school at St. Benedict's College in Johannesburg were I was deputy head boy in 2014. I achieved an 84% average with distinctions in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and Information Technology. I also participated in advanced program Mathematics and English which set me in good stead for university. I am currently in my second year at Stellenbosch University studying Chemical Engineering. Engineering has advanced on almost every aspect of the above mentioned subjects (besides for English) and I therefore have a very firm grasp on high school concepts and work.

I have a passion for the outdoors and sharing the knowledge of how science is integrated into those environmental systems; be it in the biological, chemical, physical or geological sector.I am a patient and enthusiastic person when it comes to sharing knowledge and helping those around me. I believe i have an excellent skill in making those that i teach understand the work at hand in a simplified manner. I have good people skills and am able to communicate and interact with people of all ages. Studying a Bsc degree, I believe has equipped me with a fantastic background in not only the science field but also in literature.

I am a graduate Civil Engineer and I am doing my masters in Renewable Energy engineering. I have a big interest in the environment and technology and these are two of the main reasons I chose this field.

I love physics. I matriculated with the highest physical science class average (above 90%) and can really help high school students to improve their marks. I am a chemical engineer, so I only did pure physics in 1st year. Engineering physics formed part of my Chemical Engineering degree and I can help other chemical engineering students with those concepts (i.e. fluid dynamics etc.). I can help all high school students with all high school physics.

Physics used to seem to like rocket science to me, I could never understand the work. That was until I realized that the science of physics is very practical in our everyday lives and I could soon grasp the concepts by applying the theory to the practical aspects of today. I enjoy the ideas of physics and I very much enjoy helping other people with it too. I am someone who needs to visually understand so I enjoy to teaching with this same concept. I don't believe learning is only limited to books and classrooms.
