Ek is 'n Afrikaans moedertaal spreker en het 'n liefde vir die taal van my hart. Ek het tale studeer en Afrikaans en Nederlands was een van my hoof vakke tydens my ondergraadse studies. Ek sal jou graag wil help om jou Afrikaanse vaardighede te verbeter en jou doelwitte te bereik.

Afrikaans first additional was one of my highest subjects in matric. I am fluent in Afrikaans as my parents raised me to be bilingual. I am fully capable of helping in both the language and literature departments of Afrikaans as I enjoy learning and teaching others about it.

Being one of my home languages, I am capable to express myself quite well, regardless of the setting. Having a love for languages has aided me in making a success of Afrikaans as a subject at school. Being able to help others will be a great privilege, whether it be in the language or literature space, I am up for the challenge with you! Afrikaans HL (NSC:91%)

Afrikaans is my home language, so I can communicate and understand someone easily. However, I took it as a First Additional Subject. I did still receive 89% in the end exam. I have understanding behind this subject and can explain it in either languages.

Afrikaans is my mother-tongue, and I absolutely love it. I had a wonderful teacher in high school who inspired me to want to pursue university studies in Afrikaans. I love that it is a living language and ever-changing, and I want to be part of it as much as I can.

I achieved an A for Afrikaans in High School and really enjoy both writing and speaking the language. Moving from Durban to Stellenbosch has helped me to develop more practical speaking skills and so I believe I am fairly proficient in the subject of Afrikaans. Afrikaans is nie so moeilik as jy van dit hou!

I grew up in an bilingual home and matriculated with an A in both Afrikaans and English! I now study in English at Stellenbosch University and I also spent a year abroad (receiving schooling in English). I am fully bilingual and able to communicate efficiently in both languages, which definitely helps when people need help learning a language! I believe anyone can learn or improve their Afrikaans with just a little bit of the right help! Afrikaans is a young and beautiful language, and I look forward to spreading my love for it.

I enjoy reading a variety of books and random articles online. I also love baking and always find myself trying a new a challenging recipe. I recently started sewing and I am enjoying that a lot. I have done quite a range of crafts including origami. I also love playing computer games and coding. Sometimes I go out of my room to be social and that can be quite enjoyable too. Over weekends and holidays I like to go hike and I sometimes dip my finger into photography too. I am currently a second year Mechatronic Engineering student at Stellenbosch University. I believe that you should do something every day to help someone around you.

Afrikaans is my home language. I love the language: reading, writing, grammar, literature, poetry, you name it. I have always achieved great marks for Afrikaans and I received a distinction for Afrikaans in grade 12.
