I am a third year civil engineering student at Stellenbosch University. I am 21 and I grew up in Harare, Zimbabwe and attended Peterhouse Boarding school where I achieved my Cambridge O and A level academics. I am love maths and physics more know that I've left school then I could have ever done at school!! I really enjoy being outside in the sun, so the Western Cape winter is definitely not my favourite my time of year. I love meeting new people and getting out and doing adrenaline junky stuff. Mathematics
I really enjoy working through a maths question and feeling the satisfaction when you get the answer right at the end and it all starts to makes sense. I love seeing the same reaction from people who maybe didn't understand but finally get it. I did A level maths, specifically pure maths, stats and mechanics, I believe the best way to learn maths and to understand it is to practice all the time. I give lots of questions and examples and my own notes. I have done two years of math courses during my time so far at university.

Physics
Physics used to seem to like rocket science to me, I could never understand the work. That was until I realized that the science of physics is very practical in our everyday lives and I could soon grasp the concepts by applying the theory to the practical aspects of today. I enjoy the ideas of physics and I very much enjoy helping other people with it too. I am someone who needs to visually understand so I enjoy to teaching with this same concept. I don't believe learning is only limited to books and classrooms.
