Hi! I'm a UCT chemical engineering graduate currently doing my Master’s in Bioresource Engineering at Stellies. I was the head boy and dux of my high school and matriculated with 8 distinctions (90% AVG). I tutor 1st year Chemistry and I often help my brother (in high school) and my sister (in university) with their scientific work and soft skills like presenting and writing. I am Afrikaans, but after four years at UCT my English is great. I can help high school and university students with Maths, Admaths, Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, orals, MS Word, MS Excell, MS Powerpoint, presentations, engineering design, proofreading and editing of scientific reports and papers.

Experience
Master's candidate in Chemical (Bioresource) Engineering
I graduated as a Chemical Engineer from the University of Cape Town in 2019 and I'm currently pursuing a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering at Stellenbosch University. My research is in Bioresource Engineering and I am looking to combine anaerobic digestion with absorption refrigeration to help people in rural areas to keep their food fresh. I do experiments and write scientific papers. I also read a lot of scientific work and attend symposiums and meetings. I also tutor chemistry to 1st year engineering students.

This undergraduate programme taught me the fundamentals of Chemical Engineering theory and exposed me to various aspects of industry - environment and economics, health and safety, communication and computing.

Mathematics
I've always been good at mathematics. I matriculated with an average above 90%. I help my brother with his high school maths and Admaths and really enjoy it! I actually miss high school mathematics and can really help you to improve your marks. I also did well in engineering mathematics (i.e. calculus) during my undergraduate studies as it was an important part of becoming an engineer.

Chemistry
I am a chemical engineer and as the name suggests, chemistry is my bread and butter. I matriculated with the highest physical science class average (above 90%) and often help my little brother with is chemistry homework. He is in grade 10. I also tutor 1st Engineering Chemistry at Stellenbosch. I can help high school and university students to improve their chemistry marks.

Physical Science
I was fortunate enough to have one of the best Physical Science teachers ever! It was my favorite subject in high school and I matriculated with the highest class average which was above 90%. I became a chemical engineer instead of a doctor because I liked it so much. As a chemical engineer I can really help high school students with core concepts in both physics and chemistry. I also tutor 1st year Chemistry at Stellenbosch and can give you an idea of what to expect.

Physics
I love physics. I matriculated with the highest physical science class average (above 90%) and can really help high school students to improve their marks. I am a chemical engineer, so I only did pure physics in 1st year. Engineering physics formed part of my Chemical Engineering degree and I can help other chemical engineering students with those concepts (i.e. fluid dynamics etc.). I can help all high school students with all high school physics.

Chemical Engineering
I am a chemical engineer currently pursuing my Master's and can help other chemical engineering students with their courses and important soft skills (writing and presenting). I am currently working in Bioresource Engineering (anaerobic digestion), but have worked in Metallurgy (for my Honours I extracted copper and gold out of computer parts and have worked on a mine). I can really help you to write a solid scientific report and/or present findings. I've done it many times (even for symposiums).

I am really good at writing scientific reports, presenting my work with MS powerpoint and making scientific posters. These are essential skills that I've been developing for a long time and I can really help you to communicate your work. Especially science-based work. I've got great templates and can help with proofreading.
