Physical Science tutors in Stellenbosch

I have had Physical Science as an elective since Grade 10 and I am furthering my knowledge on the subject through my Undergraduate studies at Stellenbosch University. I have always had a passion for science and enjoy learning and teaching the particle applications of it. I love assisting others with the subject as it is one of my passions and I wish to impart my love for the subject to all those that I can.

Physical science is often explained as a series of disconnected concepts which are not very well connected to the reality it is meant to describe. My goal is to show these concepts in terms of the physical reality which they describe and why the maths underlying the concepts works.

Physical Science was my absolute favourite subject in high school. I loved every experiment we did and learning about all the elements that exist and how they form part of our everyday life. This subject also helped me in deciding that I want to do engineering as I loved both the physics and chemistry part of it.

I have a great love for science especially chemistry and enjoy teaching the subject. I would love to also share the knowledge I have in this subject with students and help them to excel in this subject. I also obtained a distinction in my matric year in physical science.

I am currently a forth year Mechanical Engineering Student at the University of Stellenbosch. An engineering degree requires an advanced knowledge of a wide variety of mathematics and science. I have successfully completed 3 years with very positive results and I firmly I can provide support to most challenges faced in this line of work. Throughout my education I have excelled in the areas relating to the engineering field and I have developed a strong foundation in mathematics, science, design and computer related skills. I have demonstrated my communication, teamwork and dedication through various leadership positions in both sporting and community related aspects. My particular interest lies in the Biomedical Engineering field.

I achieved 97% for Physical Science in matric. I have always loved science, as I find it very interesting, as well as challenging to think about certain concepts in different ways. Although I am not studying Science, I am still helping high school students, like my sister and her friends.

Physics has always seemed like a daunting subject, however, I hope to share some of my tips and tricks to make studying ten times easier. Each lesson is tailored for your needs and I aim to make it more interesting and exciting so that studying doesn't become a drag. I have plenty of additional resources and past papers for practice and know how to tackle the Matric Final Exams.

I was fortunate enough to have one of the best Physical Science teachers ever! It was my favorite subject in high school and I matriculated with the highest class average which was above 90%. I became a chemical engineer instead of a doctor because I liked it so much. As a chemical engineer I can really help high school students with core concepts in both physics and chemistry. I also tutor 1st year Chemistry at Stellenbosch and can give you an idea of what to expect.

I have taken Physics as a subject at University. I have a lot of experience tutoring Physics. I enjoy Physics and helping other people understand Physics by making it interesting and relevant. I have also taken Applied Mathematics at University.
