I am passionate about teaching people how to think when it comes to science. I observe the students to determine how they study and adapt my teaching style accordingly. My goal is to make science an enjoyable learning experience.

I passed physics with a distinction in grade 12 and had both chemistry and physics up to first year level of university which will help me to explain the subject better as I have a deeper understanding of the subject.

I have experience tutoring Physics for the past three years. The results I achieved with my previous clients is a testament to my ability to teach this subject. Again(one shouldn't start a sentence with an adverb but I will), I believe having gone to an IEB school and done well in Physics both at school and in first year of BSc chemical engineering, puts me in a position where I can share this knowledge with fellow learners. I love teaching, I think that's a good enough reason on it's own.

I achieved a final NSC mark of 90% for science. I have been a lover of science since I attended school. At university I learned new skills with regards to my engineering courses in science. I would love to help younger pupils master science and evolve a passion for science as I have.

I started loving physical sciences at a very young age, hence as evident from my biography I have recently completed my MSc degree in Astronomy and data science. I have been tutoring physical sciences for the past 10 years.

I don't only theoretically explain terms but i always do my level best to use methods such as demostrations and ensuring that the learner can relate to concept beyond just doing calculations. I instill great level of confidence in the learner which subsequently help him/her to improve their grades.

I got very good marks in physical just missing an A by 3% in matric. I did the Cambridge education system at school so feel I have a good grasp on the various sections of the subject. I am also doing a Bsc honours at the moment in environmental science and geography at the University of Pretoria.

Being the Top Learner in my school in Physical Sciences, I made it my responsibility to help struggling students by explaining the concept to them individually and in small groups. I took most of them from level one to level 5&6 without having any formal teaching experience. When I got into UCT I continued helping in my High School and producing good results for learners. Now that I have a degree in Chemistry and did First-year Physics, my understanding of this subject is even broader. Being a PGCE student (Majoring in Physical Sciences) teaches me different methods of approaching and explaining the subject.

I passed this subject with very good marks in high school,and am still passing even in varsity. I have experience in teaching this subject and I can teach it very well.I always strive to find new methods of teaching a concept and I always do research before teaching a concept in order for men to deliver an informed lesson to a learner or learners.

While in school, I always achieved over 90% for this subject (achieving 93% for my final matric exam). I have a broad understanding of the topics within the subject of Physical Science. I have tutored the syllabus many times before and have therefore refined my tutoring techniques in the subject.
