I am a very patient tutor and am able to explain maths concepts at whatever level required. I like to break things down so that you'll really grasp the basics and get a full understanding of what you are studying. I have extensive experience tutoring maths while studying for a degree in mathematics (mostly one-on-one but also in a study centre) along with around 16 years within the finance/consulting space mostly within Market Risk. My name is Shankari Nair, and I have a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Cape Town. I have over 10 years over tutoring experience in matric, first, second and third year Chemistry students. My expertise include, general chemistry, inorganic and organic chemistry, with a specialization in synthetic organic chemistry.

I am an enthusiastic tutor with a love for English! I studied English Literature at Rhodes University and received As for English in High School. I believe that learning should be fun and as a result, my teaching style is simple, hands-on and creative. We all have different kinds of intelligence. We just need to learn where out strengths lie. I obtained my CTA level 2 (honors) in accounting sciences in 2018 through UNISA. I then passed the SAICA board 1 exam (ITC) in January 2020. I am well on my way to becoming a chartered accountant. I have 7 year's experience in auditing and accounting in practice and completed my SAICA Articles in 2017. I've been complemented by various people on my explaining skills and I have tutored some of my classmates before. I am friendly and approachable and eager to explain concepts difficult to understand.

I am Aviwe Stemela, have studied ITC at False Bay College 3 years, Systems Development at On The Ball College 1 year. I am Oracle Certified and currently in the Oracle Application Development space. Aviwe is a very ambitious and passionate Software Developer whom had achieved outstanding results during his accademic years and now achieving greater results as a Software developer profesional (have developed a number of Application Software listed: Inventory and POS System,Geolocation app, Digital Signature,User unlocking tool, RESTful Web Services etc.).

I am from a small town, Somerset East, in the Eastern Cape. I have a BCom degree in Macro Economics and History from the Nelson Mandela University in Port Elizabeth. I am fluent in Afrikaans and English, and have studied basic German at university. I was lucky enough to have travelled extensively through 14 European and 5 Southern African countries. My interests are politics, current affairs, photography, history, pencil drawing, woodwork and computer systems. Currently, I am a financial bookkeeper. I've tutored for 6 years during and after university. I did my honours in Mathematics and have continued my studies by completing CFA level 2. I have been in corporate for the last 3+ years and am currently spending some time deciding which path I want to take in the future. I have a passion for conservation and animals and am looking at moving into this industry. I have also missed teaching and the sense of fulfillment in helping students grow and learn. Given my focus in Maths, which is subject many students struggle more with, it is great to know that I am able to assist and teach this.
