I have been tutoring mathematics & science at a high school level for over 2 years. 40 students and about 600 hours of tutoring behind me, nothing beats the reward of instilling confidence in my learners. You never know what you're capable of, sometimes we all need a bit of guidance to achieve our goals. If I'm not preparing lessons, you'll find me playing frisbee or in the kitchen, as I love cooking up a storm.

I am 49 and the mother of two grown children (19 and 17). I have spent 30 years in the corporate industry in South Africa and my highest degree is a M.Sc in Global Management. I enjoy learning and spend a lot of time on personal development, as such I also love teaching people. I believe that learning should be fun as it prepares you for your life ahead.

I live in Grahamstown, South Africa and I have a PhD in Biochemistry from Rhodes University. I enjoy teaching and sharing knowledge with young talents. I am flexible with time and easily approachable. Online teaching is my first preference as I don't have my own transport. Hello my name is Chelsea Yonishe Trishlin Henkeman, I am 27 years of age and I was born and raised in South Africa. I am married and have no children. I do have a love for teaching and helping others therefore I decided to study Education. I have my Adult Basic Education Training Higher Certificate and I am currently studying towards my Bachelor in Education at the University of South Africa. I am a qualified online English teacher. I have both my TEFL and TEYL certificates which allows me to teach foreign students English online. I have been teaching English online since June 2016. I teach both adults and children. I teach English grammar, reading, fluency, conversational, pronunciation and writing. I enjoy teaching online because I get to complete my students and I am able to give my full individual attention to my students and adapt my teaching to my students pace. For adults my lessons are more serious, focused and to the point but with my children lessons, I try to be more laid-back, I like to have fun and speak about what they love so I can incorporate what they like into our lesson to ensure I keep their attention and if need be I act a little silly to get them to laugh and learn because that is the best way to grab their attention.
