Hi! My name is Belinda! I am 26 years old and I come from Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. I have a Masters Degree in Ancient Cultures and I have a great passion for History and Geography. I can even teach you a bit of Latin! I also love the English language and I have 3 qualifications in teaching English as an addition language - so you can be sure that I am VERY familiar with the rules of the language! I taught English online for 2 and a half years while I was studying. I am also capable of helping learners studying First Additional Language Afrikaans. My favourite thing about teaching is getting to know my students and watching learn and grown in confidence as their learning abilities improve. I have tutored with Gutsy tutoring since August 2018. Before that I tutored for the volunteer tutoring program at Wits because I have always loved helping students wherever I can and imparting the knowledge I have in subjects that I love and excelled in. In this time that I have been with Gutsy tutoring I’ve fallen in love with working with students, and as much I’ve shared knowledge with them I’ve also learnt a lot from them. I recently completed my bachelors and I am currently pursuing my honours in Organisational psychology. Some of the subjects I have done include Anthropology, Linguistics, Sociology, Research statistics, Psychology, and Organisational psychology. Hi there! I am a 19 year old student busy studying at Stellenbosch University. I am currently in my 2nd year studying BA Humanities. I would love to help with any school assistance you need :) I did the IEB curriculum for Matric, with the subjects Core Mathematics, English Home Language, Life Sciences, Dramatic Arts, Consumer Studies, and Afrikaans Additional Language - and received a distinction and high 70s. I am also willing to help with any other additional subjects, such as Geography. My hours are flexible, and our lessons don't necessarily need to be regular.

I have been teaching since from 2012 Coporates, learners and individual adults. I love what I do because knowledge is power and you are never too old to learn.Being in a journey with the students while learning their cultures is very rewarding because as they are learning from me I am learning from them too.
