I am Almario Shelwynne Noah. I obtained a merit achievement in Information Technology in 2006 and 2007 at Northern Cape High School. I completed Matric in 2008 with a distinction in Mathematics and went on to obtain my tutoring certification and B.Sc Computer Science degree at the university of the Free State (2009 - 2012). I then returned home to aid my family financially, and helping my brother complete his matric by working as an educator at St. Cyprians Grammar School (2012 - 2014). I went on to work at Autumn Leaf IT in Cape Town for 3 months and we provided IT support in Rondebosch, Plumstead and Tokia areas to name a few. I then went on to work at Khanyisa Real Systems as a software developer (January 2015 – August 2015) where I relocated back to Kimberley. I worked at St. Cyprians as a physics, mathematics and information technology educator (September 2015 – Janaury 2017) . I would be honoured to be an aide to you. My vision is to optimize the current workflow and maintain the highest output standard one man can produce I intended to be an asset and not a liability. My keys to success are: Integrity and Ethics, Hard work, Team work, Communication, Continuous Improvement, Leadership and an ongoing thirst for knowledge.

I have a degree in Science. I'm currently saving up in order to complete my teaching qualification. Currently I tutor Maths and Physical Science (CAPS curriculum )part time. I have assisted students with Life Science (Biology) and with Accounting as well, although that is not my primary focus. I recently started using Zoom to teach, which allows for interactive tutoring in spite of social distancing. My students are provided with summaries to assist with the theoretical part of the curriculum and exercises & past papers for the practical part. I welcome one on one tutoring as well as small groups.

My 18 year journey in the Hospitality industry provided me with great communication skills, easy to connect and a passion to motivate people. Outgoing, creative and patient, I am 23 and very driven. I have obtained my honors in Visual Communication Design at Stellenbosch University and my aim is to share my knowledge and effort to be able to get you to your desired goal academically.

I have two years of invaluable teaching experience working as a tutor for Hire Education Tutors in South Africa. This was achieved while I was studying a Bachelor of Commerce in Law Degree at the University of Pretoria. I thoroughly enjoyed tutoring my students during that time, teaching mainly Mathematics, Science, Biology and Geography. Some of the students I taught had learning disabilities, finding it extremely difficult to focus. This taught me to be patient and encouraged me to develop alternative and interactive teaching techniques so that my students would stay entertained and maintain their focus on the work at hand. My aim is to create a safe learning experience where I will ensure that my students feel comfortable to express themselves during the lessons, by always maintaining a positive and accepting atmosphere. I believe in the importance of fun and interactive lessons, praising students when they have achieved goals, as well as implementing constrictive criticism in a way that encourages them to keep practicing. I have a love for the ocean and have been lucky enough to spend the majority of my life near the sea. This is why my main hobbies include fishing and surfing. I also spent four years of my life travelling the world, living and working on huge super yachts. This has given me the opportunity to experience a large number of different cultures and has opened my eyes as to what the world really has to offer.
