Chemical Engineer
This is my current job where I work in the engineering consulting industry to design new ideas. I simulate processes on Flownex to analyse the client's processing plant and recommend solutions. I work with my team in project management of various projects. I do site visits and inspections.
Engineer In Training
I assisted Operations Managers to scope site jobs, select teams and improve system of working. I attended meetings with client (Sasol) regarding safety and completion of site jobs. I compiled a monthly report to the CEO of what changes I have recommended to Ops managers.
Education
BSc in Chemical Engineering - University of the Witwatersrand
Studied the design, analysis and troubleshooting of processing facilities. I used special software like Aspen, Matlab and Simulink. I also studied engineering mathematics which is calculus and algebra. I gained vast skills in project management and economics through electives the university offered.

I am very good in mathematical analysis, be it numerical, geometry, algebra or trigonometry. I passed this subject with 81% which qualifies as a distinction in South Africa. I like to put things in perspective using mathematical analysis which I believe makes one's reasoning practical especially in engineering problem solving.
