Good Day, My name is Seamus du Plessis and I am 25 years old. I have my honours degree in BCom (Hons) Business Management & my undergraduate degree in BCom Marketing Management. I currently work as a data analyst, but due to lockdown, I am unable to work full-time. I am hoping that I will be able to use my skills and knowledge to help empower young students. I have many years tutoring experience with a wide range of different aged students. I am passionate about learning and the importance of education. Tutoring allows me to help students realize their full potential and build self-confidence. Asides from work, learning and tutoring - I enjoy spending my time playing sports, gaming and I love the outdoors and wild-life. I'm very patient, proffesional, focused, passionate and encouraging in what I do.Mathematics and science has been my field of expertise since my high school life and I have continued to support the field even in my varsity life until I joined teaching since 2013 until now.i now focus on training educators and learners on how to better prepare themselves for teaching and learning mostly with the use of ICT with this changing world. I'm now doing my masters in Science at ukzn and still continue to support teaching and learning especially with more focus on revision programmes either individually or in collaboration with other stake holders.

I am a mechanical engineer by profession working in the construction industry, with more than 10 years industrial experience. I hold a B.Eng(Hons), Pgdip in Mechanical Eng (Wits) and am currently doing my MSc in QS (Mechanical & Electrical Engineering) with Salford University. I am currently employed as a general manager at Peak Consulting Engineers and I mentor junior engineers and have a passion in teaching, lecturing and mentorship.

Performance driven professional with hands on engineering experience. I hold a mechanical engineering diploma and Bachelors in technology from Cape Peninsula university of technology and University of South Africa respectively. I also hold a couple of short courses : project management, pipeline system design, legal liability, working at heights and tendering processes

I am a young and ambitious events coordinator in Cape Town. I have tutored students of various ages in various subjects before. I enjoy being a part of my students education and helping them as best I can. I find the best ways to motivate my students in ways that work for them. I had a student with a very sweet tooth, I helped him push is grades up from 40% to 80% by baking him cakes and cupcakes when he obtained certain marks on tests, exams and assignments. I realize that every student is different and I strive to find ways to help my students reach their full potential. All I ask in return is for my students to work as hard as they can and to give me their full attention during lessons. I have a total honesty policy, in which we are able to be talk openly with each other and communicate what we feel is working and how we can improve or what we can change in order to get the best out of our lessons.

I am a hardworking teacher that loves Accounting, Afrikaans, Business Studies and Maths. I will make your studies easier with summaries and tips and tricks. For the last 7 years I worked as a sports teacher and an accounting clerk. I am currently studying BCOM Financial accounting. During my studies I learned a lot of tricks to make studying fun and easy. I am a skilled and enthusiastic individual with experience supporting students outside of the classroom to meet academic challenges and prepare for examinations, it is my pleasure to work with young kids and adults. I am well competent in computer skills such as Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Pastel.

I am a professional tutor and a native English speaker. My speciality is teaching the English language to individuals of all ages. I have been teaching and tutoring for the last 6 years, beginning with children from the age of three, up to graduated individuals. I love teaching the English language as I truly believe that it opens doors and opportunities beyond belief.

I graduated with a degree in Health Sciences , Occupational Therapy in 2005 and a Masters in Medical Law in 2012, focussing on health law and ethics. I am currently a second-year/third Engineering student at the University of Pretoria, I love solving problems as well as helping people with things I understand. I have always loved doing maths and science, I enjoy teaching it as well, I found my self helping out first years with calculus at the university for free( not to say I didn't enjoy it) and wondered if I could do this to help my self financially too. I consider my self to be good at maths, I managed to get 92% and 84% in Maths and Physical sciences respectively in my matric year. I get the utmost joy when I help someone understand the topics I have learned.

I am a dynamic, experienced teacher with years of remedial and mainstream education experience from Gr1 to Gr12. I teach through inspiration in an atmosphere of trust.
