I am a third year university student, studying accounting science and working towards my CASA (chartered accountant). Before commencing my studies I successfully completed my higher certificate in which I was required do two semesters of higher grade mathematics, equivalent to A level (higher standards than Caps and IEB) as well as English. I achieved a distinction in both of these subjects, and finished off with an average of 70% (distinction pass). I am well experienced in teaching student’s Mathematics, English, Afrikaans and many commerce subjects. I do not only tutor my designated subject I also teach study methods, time management and stress management to reduce anxiety and build better exam techniques. I have had experience with kumon, Cambridge, GDE, caps, and IEB as well as home school experience, this is why I feel I would be a good candidate for this job description. I am a full-time qualified teacher and my majors are Mathematics and EMS. I have a passion for the subjects and believe I am able to simplify the subjects for learners and help them to focus on the basics to improve their marks. I`ve been tutoring since 2017 and have helped many learners overcome their struggles and fear towards this subjects.

I am a Wits postgraduate student currently working as an NRF Intern. I have previous teaching experience as a teaching assistant at Wits University and a private tutor for primary and high school students. I am a biological sciences expert - 1st year, 2nd year, 3rd year and Honours level coursework in Life Sciences, Medical Sciences and an array of Animal, Plant and Environmental Sciences. I am proficient in high-level mathematics (calculus, trigonometry and algebra), physical science and geography. I am currently studying at varsity college as well as tutoring at my college the modules I have already achieved well in.
