I like history it is a subject that teach young ones about things that happened years ago, I enjoy each and every minute when teaching it, I teach it in a way that even my student enjoy learning it with me.

I am studying towards a teaching degree, I am doing what I love. I have always wanted to share knowledge and help. I let students make their own mistakes and assist where I can. I will also extend knowledge on other subjects I know, that students need help with such as Mathematical Lit, Geography and Tourism.

I excelled in History, I was awarded the Johannesburg Heritage Foundation Scholarship Award for being the top learner in history, in both primary and high school. I have studied history from a political, sociological and psychological perspective.

I have a great passion and interest in history and I was an A student in high school for the subject. I am also able to provide tips on how to study the subject, recall the dates and sequence of events as history can be complex when it comes to studying dates and historical events of that time.

I enjoy history and find it easy to teach as I did very well when I took it as a subject in high school. I enjoy the story aspect of history. I am very good at summarising a skill which I have honed in as a law school student. Which I think is vital in history where students have a lot of information that they need to learn but by teaching them how to summarise effectively they will be able to overcome the challenges of the subject.

I have a lot of experience after teaching the aforementioned disciplines for many years as well as being highly and professionally qualified. A lot of references and recommendations also testify that I am a cut above the rest in terms of knowing my job and delivering the best service.

History is like telling a story. I can teach the subject in a way that is not boring to students, rather it is dynamic and easy to understand, memorise and explain in a personal way. Each story requires a special way of learning and is also specific to different students’ study styles. I can accommodate for any kind of student.

I am a mature lady who relates well to people of all ages, especially children with whom I love working and in whom I build a passion and love for learning. I am patient and deal with the children in a calm manner teaching them the importance of determination and that nothing is impossible. Together we can conquer each and every subject in a way which they understand and through this they learn a good work ethic and learn self-discipline, in which I am a great believer . I am quick to encourage and praise my students when it is necessary and this helps build their confidence and motivate them to cooperate with me. I am bilingual, reliable and organised and give each child I tutor my full attention helping them to achieve their goals and to ultimately cope on their own and become successful scholars and students.
