I currently lecture Design Constructs at a private design college in Durban, this subject covers art and design history in detail over the course of the 1st year Bachelor of Design degree. I aim to make my lectures relevant and enjoyable because it is really important to understand how history will inform our decisions and actions going forward. I took Visual Art as an elective in High School and enjoyed the theory work very much. I enjoy visual analysis and believe I can make it fun for the students. Analyzing artwork is similar to solving a case. While you can have a natural gift for it, you can also learn how to analyze artworks in great depth.

I was awarded the best Art student at Kingsmead College in my matric year. I find it very interesting to learn about the history of art and how it changed through the times. I will be able to teach you about some of the best artists in history as well as some of the best modern day artists.
