I am an enthusiastic young woman who has a passion for Mathematics and logic puzzles; this is evident in me achieving within the Top 1% in South Africa for Thinking Skills in 2018. My strengths consist of problem solving, thinking creatively and having an interest in learning. I have tutored two kids in the past and thoroughly enjoyed the experience as I love helping people and working with children. I am a calm and patient person who enjoys teaching one-on-one lessons as it allows me to direct my attention into finding different ways for someone to understand a concept. I have recently matriculated from Kingsmead College where I excelled in Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, Accounting, advanced Mathematics and Art history. This shows my all-rounded nature and my ability to be of valuable assistance to anyone who needs help in the above fields. I believe that I will be able to positively aid any student, regardless of their age or personality, in achieving great marks as I have confidence in my ability to tutor. I am organized, on-time, responsible and have above-average communication skills. All of which has allowed me to thrive in this field of work.

Experience
Tutoring
I tutored the next door neighbour's kids at least once a week for a month. The youngest child (grade 4) needed a lot of help and often I would spend over four hours just going through the Science, Maths, English and Afrikaans that they learnt that week. Unfortunately, I was only able to tutor for a month as the family moved to Cape Town in June 2020. Nevertheless, it was a great experience.
