I have forty years work experience and I enjoy teaching Foundation Phase learners how to read, spell, write and speak. My lessons are exciting! I always ensure that my learners are engaged and that they are having fun. Learning should be fun and not boring! I pay attention to detail and I am very prepared for my lessons. I use resources to explain topics and I like to do research. I always consolidate concepts taught before testing learners.

I have extensive knowledge in essay writing and English skills, as I have completed an undergraduate in Law and Psychology which involves a thorough understanding and grasp of the English language as well as the need for excellent essay writing techniques.

I am a first language English speaker and a keen reader. I have worked with a number of very young learners in helping them learn to read. I am patient and love working with young learners. As reading and writing form the base for all future learning, these are important skills to master from a young age.

I love reading books. I currently work part time at a book store where I spend most of my day reading.
