I achieved 88% for both English Home language and AP English at IEB Matric level. I love the language, and can teach it exceptionally well. My English literature, grammar and writing level is very high, and I can communicate with young people very effectively. I feel I can get through to students at a one-on-one level.

I am a lover of languages and have always believed it to be one of the mostly important aspects of any education. I am educated up until 3rd year university to teach English language. I have been teaching at my local high school for the past 3 years.

Firstly, my teaching philosophy is to minimise the students weaknesses and teach to the students strengths. I have the skillset to identify the types of learning styles the student has and to be able to present information in a way that has the greatest effect. my main goal in tutoring is to build confidence in the student and to enhance their study skills and overall performance. I know I will be able to do this because I am a compassionate person and I am able to build a good rapport with the student. I am also empathetic, non-judgemental, enthusiastic, a good listener and most of all, patient. I am passionate about this particular subject at a primary school level and I have extensive knowledge that I would like to share to the student. In addition, I do have experience in teaching English because I have obtained my TEFL certifcation and I am fluent in the language, that is why I will be the perfect candidate.

I believe that I am best at teaching this subject because I have been learning English all my life and fluent at it. I did well in English at school and thoroughly enjoyed it. I believe that if I can make people understand and enjoy learning the English language than they can do wonders. English is my favourite subject to teach in my grade R class because I am able to act out and make it fun for the learners. I am able to do phonics with the learners as well as help them to improve on their writing abilities. If one can excel at the English language, they can excel at anything because they will be able to understand the questions more in depth. They will also be able to enjoy the wonders of novels and book. It gives me such joy to know that I've helped someone understand a language or at least made them enjoy it just a little bit more. I also think that the reason i enjoy English so much will be an upside because if you do not enjoy the subject then you wont want to teach the subject and you wont want to make it fun for the other people. Many people struggle with English, so i want to be the reason that they do not struggle and rather succeed.

I am very passionate about the English language. I find learners sometimes need a little extra help to achieve the best results. My study methods and techniques allow children to understand and apply their knowledge. I inspire confidence and provide support for any of my students.

I have extensive experience in teaching English as a second language to foreign students. My students ranged from 4 - 50 years old, teaching various aspects of English. I have also taught English at corporate level at an multinational company.

English was my major in university and I love all things English. I love reading and trying to inspire that love into another person is just amazing. Teaching language rules is always fun because I try make it as fun for my learners as possible.

As I am a native English speaker and have written English at a high level, having worked in London United Kingdom, and written a Master's degree in technical English, I am well suited to teaching high level English. I have a UK government approved English teaching qualification in a TEFL diploma. Furthermore I have taught in three disciplines in English so am well suited to this subject.
