I have an advanced postgraduate degree in the subject matter (MA English Studies) from Stellenbosch University and have taught at the same recognised and prestigious university. Furthermore, I have a true passion for the subject and enjoy teaching it - that energy transfers to my students.

I am passionate about the English language and I find comfort in both reading and writing in my spare time. I enjoy literature and took a great interest in it in high school. It was definitely exciting to break down and explore different peices.

I've always been an avid reader and lover of stories. In high school I took Advanced Program English, which was predominantly literature based, and received above 85% in my final exam. I then took English literature at a university level and received a first class distinction. My marks speak for themselves, but my passion is what sets me apart.
