Eighteen years experience teaching English, both at primary and secondary level. A Bachelor of Arts Degree and Post Graduate Certificate in Education, specializing in English both at primary and secondary level. Also taught The British Curriculum at senior primary level, in the United Arab Emirates. Also teach adult classes on Saturday mornings.

English is a beautiful language. Reading is one of my favorite hobbies and I try to find time everyday to read. I also hope that by helping students understand literature, I will be allowing them to form a love for this language.

Being an avid reader, English literature is my niche. I specialize in set workbooks and poetry but can apply the same skills for short pieces of text for beginner readers just as easily and readily. My skillset in this niche starts at recognizing sound devices and phonemes and expands to peer reviews and academic literature.

I have had English Studies up until the end of my second year at University. While I was still in school, I also received the first grade award for English. I have a love for any reading material and I do belief that this does give me the insight to explore the themes, lessons or ideas that the reader wants to bring across in English Literature.
