I am actually Afrikaans born and raised but always had a love for english. I like to find out the meaning behind poems, and always loved writing and reading the stories given. I have obtained 82% for english in matric, as well as an average of 60%-80% in university (english law).

I am an experienced writer and poet. I have received awards and praise for my writing throughout high school career. I also achieved a distinction in English on my final NSC Certificate. I am also a student at university that had written multiple reports and essays at an higher education academic institution. I love the English Language and would love to inspire my learners to learn the basics of grammar, spelling, vocabulary etc and to use this as the basic building blocks for the creative writing projects.

I studied BA Law at the University of Pretoria from 2017-2019, majoring in English Literature. I received a distinction for English in first and second semester of my final year, as well as in matric. I believe I am best suited to tutor this subject because of the comprehensive knowledge and skill that I have acquired in the English language throughout the years I have had the pleasure of learning about it. I am particularly passionate about English Literature because of its personal impact on my recent life. And human experience is what connects us all universally, regardless of our differences. What was human experience in the 17th/18th century, remains human experience now. I made a choice to major in English Literature when I had a variety of modules to choose from. I have prior au pair experience with primary school kids and would love doing homework with them and providing incentives and fun ways to get maximum results in tests and exams.
