English Language and Literature tutors in Eastern Cape

I am a fluent English person, who enjoys teaching and understanding the English language. I feel it's very important for everyone and anyone to be able to speak English. I make English lessons fun and interesting for learners.

English was one of my majors in University and I have taught it across numerous grades over the past ten years. I especially love poetry, literature and film study. Some things in English may be tedious, but there are ways to learn and understand it.

I am passionate about English and making sure it is being taught in the most constructive and motivating way. I believe that the best way to learn a new language is to speak it, hence why I believe the students need to spend most of the time talking and developing their communication skills as well as writing and reading skills. I ensure that lessons are very interactive with educational games,puzzles,activities etc in order to maximize the students engagement throughout the lesson.

I have an advanced postgraduate degree in the subject matter (MA English Studies) from Stellenbosch University and have taught at the same recognised and prestigious university. Furthermore, I have a true passion for the subject and enjoy teaching it - that energy transfers to my students.

English become one of my greatest joys right through my school career. I went from a person who could barely have a short conversation to being really comfortable with the language and have a good command of the language.

I am currently completing my third year of English Literature studies, having achieved Distinctions for all of my modules since first year. I am well equipped to help with essay assignments, essay test preparation, grammar improvements, comprehension and reading. I can help students understand the literature they are studying and teach them how to understand the content better.

I am a Creative Writing Student on the way to become an author. I love fantasy, so i love English. I am very proficient at it and easy to communicate with. I am young and friendly.I love reading fantasy and writing. I paint and draw as well.

I have studied this subject for over 17 years since my first level at school. It was one of my best subject and i find my self loving the subject. I also hold a Diploma in English Language and Communication apart from other qualifications that are not directly linked to this subject. I am a peot by birth and i usually write short stories during my spare time. Basically i can say i have a lot of passion when it comes to English Language.

Not only was English one of my better subjects in High School, but I'm qualified with a TEFL Diploma consisting of 300 hours. I have been tutoring English for over 2 years and I'm a native speaker. I am more than capable of tutoring English, both language and literature, across all levels.

I can adapt to my students levels and prepare lessons according to there needs. I have a real passion for people and to help others achieve there goals. I am very patient and kind and love to get to know my students. What I enjoy most is that both me and my studens can be more comfortable in there own space while enjoying a fun lesson.
