I passed English with distinction all throughout high school. I am an avid reader, academic and creative writer, and I am very patient! I know it can be a daunting subject to tackle but when taught in an open and relaxed environment both language and literature are a joy to learn and teach.

I received a 79% average in this subject for my matric year. I am a very creative person and I personally love literature as well as the English language. It is a complex language to understand but once broken down into simple steps it becomes easy to understand.

I enjoy teaching language to Primary school learners. In addition to my high school English, I did an Academic Literacy course at the Stellenbosch University Scimathus program where I obtained a distinction.

I am the best tutor for this subject because I have taught English as a home language for over two years and I am an expert with multiple techniques that can be used and how to create the foundation for learning English.

Since high school I attained good results, was good in public speaking. I believe in myself as the best outspoken lady with all the attributes needed to help learners to achieve their desired goals. I am a good listener too, i do not rush things but thoroughly engage with every learner till they get full understanding and increase their confidence

I grew up in an bilingual home and matriculated with an A in both Afrikaans and English! I now study in English at Stellenbosch University and I also spent a year abroad (receiving schooling in English). I am fully bilingual and able to communicate efficiently in both languages, which definitely helps when people need help learning a language! I believe anyone can learn or improve their English with just a little bit of the right help!

I am currently completing my third year of English Literature studies, having achieved Distinctions for all of my modules since first year. I am well equipped to help with essay assignments, essay test preparation, grammar improvements, comprehension and reading. I can help students understand the literature they are studying and teach them how to understand the content better.
