I am currently a second year student studying a BSc in Biodiversity and Ecology. I am passionate about wildlife, conservation and helping people! I enjoy being able to positively influence lives, and thus enjoy teaching. I speak both Afrikaans and English fluently and I am a fast learner, ready to help!

2013-2018 High School at Tygerberg High School (with the exception of 2015-2016) 2015-2016 High School at Sammamish High School (Seattle, USA - Exchange student) 2019 - present Studying BSc Biodiversity and Ecology at Stellenbosch University I have spent a lot of time working with other people in cultural aspects. My exchange programme created a lot of opportunities for learning as well as teaching and sharing skills! I have also undergone several leadership training courses, including a 7 day course in Timbavati, Hoedspruit (White Lion Leadership) as well as Mentor Training at Stellenbosch University.

I grew up in an bilingual home and matriculated with an A in both Afrikaans and English! I now study in English at Stellenbosch University and I also spent a year abroad (receiving schooling in English). I am fully bilingual and able to communicate efficiently in both languages, which definitely helps when people need help learning a language! I believe anyone can learn or improve their Afrikaans with just a little bit of the right help! Afrikaans is a young and beautiful language, and I look forward to spreading my love for it.
