Hi there, I am a 20 years old Students studying BSc Human Physiology at the University of Pretoria. I feel that education is so important and it is the foundation for people to grow into becoming successful adults. I have always been an academic. I Matriculated with 6 distinctions in 2018. I then continued to study and work hard, and this paid off when I was invited to join the Golden Keys Honor's Society. I have been a top achiever in my faculty (top 15%) since I started University. I especially love Science and Mathematics and hope to help students who feel like they need help in these areas.

I usually wake up fairly early and start with work after I have showered and eaten. I like to start off productively as I feel the day progresses productively. I also like to go to the gym in the afternoons as I feel a balanced life is very important. I like to study in the evenings as I am focused then.

Maths is a subject that every student has to take in High School, and a lot of students struggle with this subject. I really enjoy maths and breaking down each problem so that I can understand the problem better and then to find an answer. I feel like I can help students who are in need of help understand and apply themselves better in Maths and achieve great results.

Afrikaans
Afrikaans is one of the mandatory subjects that a learner will need to study and this can be quite challenging. I can help students understand the concepts and rules of Afrikaans and help them achieve admirable results in their tests and exams. It is important to get a basic understanding of the language and then build upon that and I feel like I can tutor students and help them to accomplish this.

Chemistry
Chemistry is one of my favourite subjects and the best to teach. The way your brain has to work in order to solve these problems, is so fascinating. I also like to help students who struggle with the subject understand how to go about applying themselves towards this subject.

Physics
Lots of students who are choosing their senior subjects take physics and tend to struggle in Grade 10 because concepts are new. I would love to help students who are in need of help with this challenging subject. I will work with students and see what teaching method works for them in order for students to understand the subject better and perform in all the tests and exams. (I can tutor Grade 8 -10 students)

English is a beautiful and very necessary subject that all students have to take in high school. It can be quite challenging for some however, it is important to understand what you are doing and how to approach English. I feel that I can help any student understand the English language and conquer each test, exam or speech with the best of their ability. (I am happy to tutor students from Grade 8 – 11)
