I am a creative man who tries to no matter how much it takes. I believe there is always a solution somewhere somehow behind every problem. If one thing fails l do not give up and l do not believe in quitting but trying some other way possible. When presented with a task l prefer to start with the toughest point down to the easiest until a successful completion.

When I was at school, I chose to do physics as one of my electives as a last minute decision even though I always thought I'd study art and design. After matric, I took 2 gaps year (au paring in London) and now I'm studying astrophysics and applied maths at UCT (first year). I still love art, but understanding mathematical concepts and the world around me is so satisfying and fulfilling. Needless to say, my preferred subjects to tutor are maths and physics. Other details about me, I live in Cape Town, went to Rustenburg Girls' High School.

Hi, my name is Bryan Mpakati, i am currently doing my final year in Actuarial Science at the University of Cape Town. Originally from Zimbabwe but grew up in the Eastern Cape since i was 9 years old. For fair part of my life, i had been told that i am quite a talker and through my love for Mathematics and Statistics, i decided to combine the two and here i am ,looking for an opportunity to showcase my skills.

During my undergraduate program I was a tutor as working and I loved it. I have more than a year of tutoring experience. The idea of teaching other people has always been one of my strengths as I would describe myself as someone passionate about all I do. I am 24 years old and currently working towards my masters in research psychology! I have a passion for learning and teaching and I have lots of experience in both! Hello! I am a young professional who has graduated with Honors in Industrial Psychology. I have been trained to give lessons on how to improve your skills and learning habits. Not only this, but I am a certified TEFL teacher with over 200hrs in qualifications! Finally I have 2 years experience tutoring, whether it be at work or online.

I am a fourth year medical student based in Rosebank , Cape Town. (Two years from being a doctor yay!) I am very friendly, patient and easy-going. I have two years previous teaching with Get Smart tutors teaching Grade 9 English, Maths, History, Biology, Life Orientation and Afrikaans. I am able to work with any age group but would thrive working with younger children. (Still would love to tutor high school subjects!) I passed all my matric subjects with distinctions and had an 87% aggregate overall. I am very into athletics, I just finished the half ironman triathlon in Durban this year. Other hobbies include surfing, rock climbing, yoga and scuba diving.

I am currently studying engineering at UCT. I chose my major as I was passionate about mathematics and physics throughout high school. I believe my interest in these subjects makes me especially apt to tutor others. I aim to ensure my students understand what they are doing and why, rather than just parroting answers.
