Mathematics tutors in Rosebank

Got 80s and 90s for Maths in High School, finished my honors completing my research statistics in Psychology and Industrial Psychology. I have been tutoring Maths since then, focusing primarily on University 3rd Year Statistics as well as High School and Junior School Maths!

I really enjoy teaching mathematics. I matriculated with an A for mathematics and have much previous experience in teaching this subject. I am patient and will explain concepts thoroughly and in an easy to understand manner.

With Mathematics its not about getting to the solution that matters but grasping the process that's all! I believe i am the best at this subject because l do not give in easily and like sharing my knowledge whenever possible. Also as an average person I know I can help anyone with a math problem for one to understand the concept behind. In everyday life we all at some point add or subtract numbers which I believe I am good at.

I have had a great share of Mathematics thus far, from my high school throughout my university career. To add on, i have also had decent experience in tutoring through the University of Cape Town and a tutoring company , thus quite confident in my capabilities to teach the subject as best as one can possibly can.

I am a UCT graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science specializing in Quantitative Finance. During my undergraduate program I was a tutor as working and I loved it. I am a Maths guru! The idea of teaching other people has always been one of my strengths as I would describe myself as someone passionate about all I do. I am patient with my students and will make it a mission that they improve their grades by ensuring all concepts are well understood.

I am very patient, something I think is essential when teaching maths as it can be incredibly tricky and require a lot of repetition and re-explaining of concepts. I have tutored maths to primary school students before. I love to find ways to make what is often a troubling subject into something enjoyable and manageable! I am patient and dedicated and very positive!
