I am able to tutor primary school mathematics as during my years in primary school I always obtained an A for mathematics. I also took mathematics as an elective course during my first two years of university.

I teach Maths step by step. I love using visual aids when explaining. I have assisted lots of children whereby their foundation maths were confusing for them. I assisted them in getting that right first them moving onto their particular grade maths.

Mathematics was/is my strongest subject. i completed AP Mathematics from grade 10-12 and used it to obtain a Distinction in Business Statistics last year at varsity. i believe everyone can understand mathematics, and would like to help others who battle with mathematics.

I am a qualified Mathematics teacher specialising in IEB, NSC and Cambridge. I have been actively tutoring and teaching for 15 years. I began tutoring at the age of 18, and have continued to actively tutor primary and high school students in Mathematics, Physical Science and Commerce subjects since then. Upon completing my undergraduate degree I immediately began working as a teacher. I have since worked at schools around Johannesburg. My most recent teaching job was at Roedean School (SA) in Johannesburg, where I worked as a support Mathematics teacher and an Advanced Programme Mathematics teacher.

I try to make people see that it isn't as hard as they think it is and that they can do it. In my time as a tutor I have learned how to make maths seem less threatening but also how each individual has a different approach to learning. Often it only takes a bit of patience and dedication.
