Throughout my primary school yers I have never gotten a grade that was lower than a B. I believe I can help learners to grow and understand Mathematics Literacy On a personal lever I enjoy mathematics and I believe that having a tutor who is passionate about what they teach, plays an important role towards the student.

I have a vast knowledge of how to apply mathematics to solving simple and complex problems and can explain why it is that each bit of mathematics are the components that you might need if you are building a solutions to a complex problem. I will teach you the basic language of mathematics and once we can speak mathematics fluently you can teach yourself anything.

Mathematics was one of my favorite subjects from school and I did substantially well achieving 92% (90% for paper 3) for my matric in 2012. I have a small amount of tutoring experience having taught 6 pupils ranging from grades 4 to 10. My main priority is to help the pupil understand why maths is structured the way it is. Almost all the people I have come across tend to struggle to progress because they are missing the basics. My second priority is to enforce practice. I will need the pupil to practice daily to ensure they do not forget what they have learned from the week. If pupils do not practice they will forget. I aim to be a decent tutor that is able to assist anyone with an urge to improve their marks.

I am a very patient teacher. I possess excellent communication skills. I have a deep understanding and broad knowledge of Mathematics. I also excel in exam technique coaching in order to achieve the best possible mark and maximize the students potential to excel.

I qualified from the University of the Witswatersrand as a Mathematics and Life science teacher. I have taught Mathematics for the past 5 years in both government and private schools. This includes setting examinations and tests as well as extra lessons.

15 years lecturing experience as well as havi g real world examples and experience. I also have a child in grd 8 and grd 4, both of whom I help with Maths homework and understanding the curriculum. I create tests and teach them material over and above the prescribed material from their schools.

I have been tutoring Mathematics for 9 years and am familiar with the requirements for both IEB and GDE according the CAPS outlines. I have been complimented on my ability to connect and relate to my students and ensure their learning journey is filled with patient guidance and support. I instill confidence within my students and encourage them to take pride in their achievements.

I enjoy teaching maths for primary school students as it is grass roots and I have tutored primary maths for ieb and GED students and have achieved excellent results
