I am an outgoing and lively 20- year old. I love children and have helped to tutor many of my cousins and family friends children between Grade 1-10. I am fluent in both English and Afrikaans! English is my home language and I went to an Afrikaans school. And currently learning Xhosa as a part of my university degree. I am currently studying towards being a doctor - a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree at the University of Cape Town! However, due to covid I have returned home to Johannesburg!

I grew up in an Afrikaans town and even though English is my home language. I did attend an Afrikaans school where I did most of my subjects until Matric in Afrikaans. I also am able to socialise fluently in Afrikaans. I did extremely well for Afrikaans as a subject in Matric and received 94%. I also received a School and District award for Afrikaans. I have a good understanding of Afrikaans literary devices, poetic devices, grammar and sentence construction, as well as a broad vocabulary.

I am fluent in English as it is my home language. I am also an avid reader and very patient. I have previously helped a dyslexic child with reading and the improvement thereof. I am familiar with helping children and the basics of reading such as phonetic pronunciation
